this was actually pretty good. its a departure from Scarlet but more like bringing all her skills into the fold at once. from what I can tell though, my favorite songs are the ones everyone else liked, so most likely to be singles. Idk if anything really stood out besides that.
my thing is im not an 80s baby. some of the songs sound like "okay most of my fans probably dont have much knowledge of the 80s, so here's some sounds they might hear for the first time and think I created it" type vibes. similar to dua lipa, im just not fukking with it cause I'd rather listen to actual 80s classics. all in all though as long as she doing what she wants its worth listening to.

Feel like this is a huge step down from her last album. Maybe 2-3 standouts but for the most part it's extremely safe and generic bubble gum music. Most of the songs sound very similar to eachother. She's even using the same singing style and cadence. This feels like one of them half assed albums an artist releases when they're trying to get their contracts completed. Don't see this album having any staying power at all. Her songwriting on Scarlett was 10 times better.
