The grocery stores where I live have been playing games like this since before the pandemic. Multiple team members walking around doing next to nothing BUT only
3 lines open and self checkout a whole damn mess.

I feel u everytime im in a RUSH shyt be going slow. They’re should be an isle like the grocery stores that cater to people with only 1-3 items. Its not logical or economical to fkn wait behind someone with 36 items when u have 2-3 . Just screams inefficiency

The two grocery stores I go to have gotten rid of a bunch of their regular check out lanes for self out lanes.
Other stores like general or aldi's usually only has one checkout open.

Shoulda walked out with the shyt.So I headed out to make a run to the gas station and needed to stop and pick up some Pullups for my son. I ain't feel like being out too long so I decided to hit the DG up the road from my crib. I pull up, a moderate amount of cars in the parking lot. Cool
I'm tryna run in and run out real quick.
I walk in this bytch and the line wrapped around the aisle. Nikkas looking flustered and anxious like they been standing in this bytch for hours. A woman at the register with a basket full of shyt tryna coupon. I hate when nikkas try to grocery shop at DG. Take yo ass to a walmart. Then, these nikkas got the audacity to only have 1 register open. They be leaving that one cashier out there to fukking die. I can tell she was getting frustrated. It was a little old white lady.
I run and get my items and line ain't moved at all. This lady fussing n shyt cause some of her coupons not working. Meanwhile like fukking clockwork, the self checkout is down and out of order. People sighing all loud. The nikka in front of me started getting pissed and he said "mane this shyt don't make no got damn sense". All my mans had was a case of bud light. I can tell he had just got off work and he in here having to deal with this shyt.
The cashier asked the lady if she could take care of a the few customers behind her since they only had a few items and the coupon lady said no cause she's in a hurry too.
So I'm peeking through the aisles tryna find the other employee cause this shyt was ridiculous. Every fukking time I come to this mf it be some bullshyt like this. I can't stand going to DG. I waited in that line for 9 minutes just to get 2 packs of pullups. The other employee didn't show up until I was damn near at the register.
