I think he's getting a temporary main event push. After WrestleMania, it seems like they always go to Kane for the champion to face. Maybe they'll switch it up and have Dolph join the Authority to face Reigns post-WrestleMania and then Rollins during his return and then it's back to the mid-card

NO. In 2012? Hell nah..hahahahaha. He was an ant before AJ turned heel and they got one up on Cena. They marked out hard for him leading to WM 29 and the aftermath. That was his time. The height of his run..then he got injured and came back still hot. Went against AJ but was a jobber for Del Rio.

The main reason was for HHH to look strong and "get more heat with the internet" by "burying" Ziggler or some silly shyt like that. I also think it was made as a back up plan if they need someone else to help Shane win at Mania
