Yea WCW was competition and the business was in a boom period and they were going in a edgy direction to win the Monday Night Wars, now it is a controlled environment, I mean Ambrose got heat for speaking openly on Austin's very podcast, do you think a Ambrose or Dolph could go out there and just do as they please?
Exactly, Austin used to be able to call the shots because he couldve always went back to WCW and held that shyt over Vince head. In 2002 with WCW gone, Austin criticized creative they could then punish him by jobbing to Brock on Raw, and he had to walk out to nothing
