I was ready to rip a new a$$hole into Dolp Zilga for coming at Stone GOAT, but what he said wasn't that bad. As much as I'm Stone Cold's biggest fan, he has to understand that the 90's was a different time and the WWE was desperate to change.
StupidDolph really believes he is a star he'd take his ass to TNA. He doesn't, most of these guys don't
He basically says it's easy for Austin, as an "attitude era" guy, to sit back on his podcast and criticize the current crop of stars and say how they should do this or that. Don't know why you don't wanna "spoil it"![]()
Austin is in old guy mode. He thinks bc he bucked against the system back then that it'll work now.
No chance.
Wrong , they were forced to do the original superbaby face gimmick by Vince . Only once it flopped did they get a chance"New day" proved Austin's point correct...they were three guys who didn't like thier gimmicks...asked to be put together and got it over on thier own..
i feel the same way. Austin i fukkin hate nowadays. thought his character was overrated. The Rock >>>>>

And New Day were fortunate that cokeboy liked them so much that even after HIS original idea flopped and got booed out of every building, they were still allowed to continue getting time with the gimmick and were able to instead let their own real personalities shine through (rarely happens today), turned it into something great, and then everybody in the back still loved them. Props to them obviously, but you cant point to one example and say "see Austin's right" when we all can name tons more examples of guys taking shytty gimmicks and getting over on their own like New Day, and instead of being celebrated they get squashed and buried for getting themselves over in a way that WWE didnt like or didnt plan for. THAT is generally the rule, New Day is the exception."New day" proved Austin's point correct...they were three guys who didn't like thier gimmicks...asked to be put together and got it over on thier own..
