You kind of don't know what you're talking about on this one....My Grandma is 97, and her and my Grandpops were in the Civil Rights Movement and the SCLC.....Ralph Abernathy used to stop by the crib and everything.....Segregation had its pluses, but there was definitely more negatives.....I'm from the cradle........and the most glaringly obvious side effect from slavery and Jim Crow is a psychological disorder we have when it comes to trusting one another with our own welfare........I see a lot of young cats on here who romanticize about the pre integration era like it was the business(it wasn't)......and to top it off, 98% of the nikkas posting on here aint never experience racism a day in they life, so how they became qualified to speak on it bewilders me......But since I said that, I'm pretty sure every black poster under the age of 24 is going to come in and post a story about them experiencing overt racism.......

This is true...i can't say if i mentioned it on here or not before...but....

A friend of mine brother met this black chick...she was very attractive, she was into church, close to her family, loved to cook, well versed and travelled, had her own money...car...and etc and was studying for the bar to become a practicing lawyer. She was very interested in him and he said she was "nice and smart". He chose to give her the cold shoulder b/c she had a son.

So fast foward...he ends up dating a tattooed up, avg white woman [who i commented "looks like a woman who plays roller derby"...only to find out that she actually did play roller derby] who had been married "2" times prior and had 2 kids. So in the mist of trying to marry her he finds out she's actually been married 3 times and also that on a out of town trip to visit her family she had dinner with an ex and only came clean when she stumbled in a convo they were having letting it slip out. He married her anyway and when they talked about having kids found out she had her tubes tied and it's gonna be like $10k to reverse it and etc. Add to that that this chick doesn't have custody of her 2 kids and has to pay child support and doesn't have a degree even though she's 8yrs older than he is. Oh yeah...and she doesn't cook at all! smh

And it's so crazy b/c he'll say "aww look at that pretty mixed baby"...but will not acknowledge a all black baby at all. This nicca is the same color as Wesley Snipes and now has excluded all his black friends out of his life. All he wants to do is "fit in" with white folk which is sad b/c he still doesn't get it that he's still "a nicca" to most of those people in Tennessee.
