I'll give em a chance to impress me while listening to some Jay or Mobb Deep in a whip but it would come across as them trying to hard or "fakin the funk" so to speak. A shame but true.Perhaps if they knew the lyrics and shyt I could dig it. Cause god forbid they try to discuss the music with me and say some dumb shyt...I might lose all respect for em.
That being said I also dont like when they listen to that kinda Drake and Wayne shyt all day or Nicki Minaj either. I prefer girls that like Soulful R&B and even that europop kinda music >>> all else.
I only know one chick that has that impeccable hip hop taste. Knew her from High School. Overall a cool, sane chick. I used to put her on shyt. My BB broke though and I lost her contact info
