Targeted by whom? I would wager that most "trans kids" are white, and that most of the kids who bully them are white. Transitioning isn't a decision that most black families would encourage their children to make, let alone have the means to support, since it isn't cheap. This is a white problem. Why is a black actor on TV wearing a shirt about protecting trans kids? Are there any white actors on TV who wear shirts that read 'Protect Black Children From The Police'? Would a white actor even be allowed to wear that shirt on SNL?

I ain't gon lie, I remember one incident in particular when I was in high school when some white trans kid got set on fire on the bus by some nikkas who went to the same school (Oakland High), I think he lived but don't remember. Being burned alive and violated in general is not something I wish on anybody who ain't done shyt to me, let alone a kid.
Still though, I don't agree with administering hormone altering drugs and irreversible operations to kids who are perfectly capable of wearing whatever they want to wear without altering their physiology. I wouldn't let my son wear a dress but if that's what these kids' parents want to let them do
However, no child should be able to get an irreversible operation that is intrinsically motivated by as many environmental factors as biological ones. Wanting your child to stop getting bullied for crossdressing is not a good enough reason to allow a developing child to get gender surgery.
