Well Cuomo was helping and providing inside info to his brother. Understandable considering thats his BROTHER but still unethical. And he tried to cover up the depth of how much he was using his connects to help.
Lemon got too arrogant and forgot he was a black man. Again, considering he was there for SEVENTEEN YEARS, its sort of understandable that he got too comfortable but with the changing of the guard when Licht came onboard and the dismantling of the Cuomo/Lemon/Cooper primetime super trio Lemon should’ve seen the writing on the wall, especially considering he apparently didn’t want to play ball as a “team” with the other two morning hosts. The black guy is ALWAYS the one thats going to be on the chopping block. ALWAYS
I think with Chris Cuomo they fired him moreso for the optics of there being impropriety moreso than him actually doing something that was against company policy. If I'm a rich, famous and connected person in the media industry and my relative gets in trouble, of course, I'm gonna make calls to whoever I can to help out my relative. Tell all these white celebrities with fukk up kids that they can't help their kids out of jams. They obviously do. As long as Chris didn't ask CNN staffers and employees to use their work time to help Andrew Cuomo or as long as Chris didn't use CNN's facilities himself, then I don't see why it's their business to be honest

What I do off work hours is my business

The only reason they fired him imo is Andrew Cuomo was out there touching on women like a creep and CNN couldn't have their main news caster that they put on TV every night being associated with that sort of thing
Lemon....I don't like him really....I felt he worked well with Cuomo there but, I don't care about him enough to defend him

I feel like they could've worked this out without firing him but, oh well. Tough break nikka.
