As a heel announcer, he was legit the best thing on TNA television for a little while.

I remember reading Jeff Jarrett hated Don West's heel turn because West was so good at merch sales and marketing, and he needed to be a babyface to do that at the live events.

Damn, not Don. He was never the best announcer but that mf used to put over sting being in the impact zone like a muhfukka!


He really used to sell it as a big deal. That’s missing in wrestling today. For all dons faults, he knew how to put over big moments like they were the biggest deal in the world
