The hole in the heart is what caused the stroke.
Its a genetic thing, and unless you get a special screening, you wont know you have it until a stroke or a mild stroke (which is what seems like what happened to Gambino) happens.

My dad had a mild stroke years ago and it was discovered he had a hole in his heart
