He didn't lose it he was forced to sell for 2 fukkING BILLION DOLLARS. He's like 80 and been an owner for decades there's tougher L's to get over regular people suffer everyday.

Yeah I get that it makes sense to sell. But Donald Sterling is too senile for that shyt. What else did you think was going to happen?

So here goes my tin foil hat argument. The league met up with him and staged this whole fake sale to shut him up for a while. Microsoft dude may be legit interested but he put the number at 2 billion to shut up all the fake bidders. While everything got quiet, the playoffs just rolled along into the finals. Now that they think the players for the Heat (not too sure where the :mjpls: Spurs stand) are in too deep to protest, Donnie boy can go back with the suit.

Yes its 2 bn but the real issue is taxes. If he dies and passes it onto his estate they tgeb sell they will be paying capital gains taxes on 2bn base. As opposed to now if he sells he will pay capital gains taxes with a base of 600mn. The difference is literally half a Billie or so.
