I see nothing wrong with Obamacare being completely misunderstood
I'm just trying to find out what trumps health care plans are about?
Trump has already told you, explicitly, that he's going to replace Obamacare with something amazing. Everyone will be covered, the coverage will be great, fantastic, and it will be cheaper than you've ever seen. He will ensure this with more competition. So why are you asking ignorant questions?
Because that annual increase is 40% smaller than the average annual increase in the previous decade, and 20% smaller than the CBO predicted in 2010?
And that far more people are covered, and that the level of coverage for people on the basic plans has gotten better, are both obvious facts.
There are massive problems with the plan, I was upset with it at the time, and I don't like a lot of how it was put together. But some ideological issues aside, that's true of every massive bill. Republicans and Democrats spent years working together to fix Bush's prescription drug bill, which was just as big a hit on the budget as Obamacare, but primarily benefitted drug companies. The problem this time around is that obstructionist Republicans refused to undergo the normal bill reconciliation process to fix obvious errors in it, and have for six more years refused to pass any bill that might make it better because they want the political points of Obamacare being unpopular more than they want to help Americans get better coverage.
