Your post was exactly what I thought it would be. Using the office of the Presidency to magnify Trump's comments and why it should be international news. Who cares? Trump is a liar. Trump contradicts himself all the time. Trump is a piece of shyt. Most people know this. Making a small comment about the conditions if the NFL is some front page news story when it's been documented numerous times.

You're exactly right about Trump and the NFL. However theres no way youd not convince me the owners come down so hard on protesting and Kaepernick because of Trump how his his base would eat it up and made it a headline.

I think the owners, being old conservative white men who are beholden to conservative values, really thought they could placate Trump/his base by showing they wanted nothing to do with kneeling.
