the reality is most people don't have to worry about their kids playing football past maybe middle school because most of em can't handle it. the game gets more physical and much more demanding once you hit high school, so by that time most of the kids whose parents first pushed em out there to play when they were younger have stopped.

i saw it firsthand when i was playing and see it now as a coach.

this is astounding.

Trump spent a significant majority of his political clout on pushing a conservative ethos on the brutality of this modern gladiator sport and he is not publicly admitting that not only is it too dangerous for his kids, but that he is contradicting those same statements that endeared him with his base.

This is a damning statement and rattles the essence of what people drew themselves close to.
