The crime happens in random spots now more than ever (since Covid).

Car jackings and robberies are common in neighborhoods like Wicker Park and Logan Square.

A good chunk of my dad's side of the family lives in Chicago. I used to go to Chicago 2-3 a year as a child and teenager. Chicago is a beautiful city and although it has problems, it's not like Beirut in the 80s and Baghdad in the 2000s like the media hypes it up to be. This is all started when Obama was president with the framing that Chicago is a war zone.
