I think it's good to show unity too, people are so selfish they don't realize the power of unity, if people collectively combined resources more often they could achieve great things and it wouldn't really effect them finiancially. Even on here with the numbers it would be easy to help many people out with various things, producers, artists, entrepreneurs, just people in general but everyone's mostly too selfish. Thankfully there are some in real life who try to do things like this, but there should be a lot more, there's huge strength in unity.
Goals already been met, think you can still donate possibly but the goals been met now.

I'm knocking the act of asking for donations on the part of his family/friends in the first place. I'm just saying they should have to deal with it on their own like the rest of us.

Hey I never said don't do it, I actually said to each his own. If you feel that connected then by all means give what you can I guess. I'm simply someone who can't relate, his fans like me have donated plenty of money to his cause over the years so he'd be prepared for this.

My point is though that some people want to donate, people donate to things all the time just to help, I've donated to people on here, they're not famous but just to help. No-one's forced. I don't think we really know the family's financial situation, maybe they need help and could do with some support. If that's the case what's the harm in asking? Then anybody who WANTS to can, see what I'm saying? No-one who doesn't want to or is hugely struggling has to, they won't hold it against you, but anybody who has a desire to pay their respects with a donation now has the opportunity to. Some people just want to help cause had love for them.
If there's people who want to help them I don't see why they should have to struggle on their own, if there's people who would really like to help or have some suplus cash to share. I sympathise with any family dealing with the costs and expenses, I'd like to help everyone but no 1 person can do that but if able I'd at least try to help those who you love, care about, or have touched you or mean something to you. I didn't know Fatal, never met him or even spoke to him but I was cool with Young Noble and have done business with The Outlawz, and Pac is my favourite rapper. I feel like Pac and The Outlawz did something for me and for Hip Hop, this is just a small way of paying respects to me and giving something back. I don't judge at all anybody who doesn't but I think is fair enough then giving me and others the opportunity to do that.

Why? He had mad potential but did nothing with it. I remember waiting for his debut album hype as fukk and it was a major disappointment.
I think people just feel it would be respectful to chill for a bit before being overly critical of his career. Before he's a rapper he's a human being and a father and son etc... So would be dignified to keep any critical analysis of him as an artist till later down the line, he's just passed away.
