R & B got fukked when it got exposed to autotune in 06 along with the new age of club hopping being a lifestyle, instead of an activity. No more classics, just a bunch of lost nikkas. These young folks are no longer being raised in the church these days, and church is where people exercised their vocal and musical talents in the past. Not anymore, since the church has been replaced by the club. R & B like Donell Jones and old school Ginuwine is a thing of the past, and like someone said, its almost fiction at this point.

Exactly. A&rs got lazy. Theres no more vocal coaching. Nothing thats innovative in the mainstream. Its sad. We have to search hard for talent now. I just dont get it. Rap and r&b has to be the most crabs in the barrel genre ever. I know at the end of the day its competion. But everybody is copying and stepping over each other to make a quick buck. theres nothing innovative about the drakes nicki minajs or anything like that. And the artists like jessy boykins phonte etc are gonna forever be over looked.

Just found out he has a new album coming out this year called Forever. The lead single is called Forever as well. I definitely will be checking for it.
