..matter of fact, I change my mind. Gonna go with Tank. Im a bit biased to most 90s classic hits and Donell’s music has this nostalgia factor that takes me back to my childhood, but Tank has always been the talented underdog and there’s always some pretty good RnB material to choose from cause his vocals and soulful delivery is leaps and bounds over his sometimes sacharrine subpar material. What makes him good is his innate musicianship ..chord progressions are always so rich and lush. The musician in me be like ..damn, this nikka loves a good minor riff.

This isn't even a comparison! People don't understand the effect Jones had on generation of cats. Music and style! Could play his 2nd and 3rd album in the year bc 300 or the year 5320 still relevant as hell.

No disrespect to Donnell but Tank is still delivering good R&B albums 20 years in as a solo artist, writer and group member. And he is the goat for the “I’m sorry I fukked up baby, I’ll try to be a better men if you take me back” style of his writing 
That's because Tank's songs literally put you to sleep.
Even Donell's slow jams get me pumped.
