That Altuve HR getting called back is gonna go down as one of the most controversial calls of all-time. That should have been a home run since Mookie was reaching beyond the fence. I'd file a protest if I was Houston. That absolutely was the difference in the game.

How would it be a homerun? It hit Mookie's glove and came back into play. At best it's a double runners on 2nd and 3rd.

It will definitely be one of the most controversial.

-I believe Betts would have made the catch if the fan did not make contact with him.

-With that said, if Mookies arm is over the wall and out of the field of play, the fan touching him does not make it fan interference.

-They went with the call on the field, and there may not have been enough overturned.

Putting aside there not being enough evidence to overturned, it probably wasn't fan interference by the rules, but it was close.

Nah Kimbrel been doing this shyt ALL postseason, dodging disaster by inches he has no command at all
Yea, I haven’t kept up wit the Sox or really much baseball this season....but I do know the game/players and Houston got bats, like seasoned post season ready to hit something bats(altuve dont fukk around)....some closers from other squads in the league would’ve gave that up easy in that situation....not sayin he’s to be trusted but winning against that Houston squad in Houston in that situation is impressive.

OK, at worst it should have been a double.

That going with the call on the field excuse is bullshyt. Why have replay if you're not trying to get the call right? That's the whole point of the system.

It was pretty obvious Mookie's glove went into the stands. Those seats are RIGHT on the wall. Are they supposed to hold back their hands and let home runs hit them in the chest? That was self defense as much as trying to get the ball and they weren't leaning over the fence to get the ball.

That type of a blown call WITH replay simply cannot happen.

It's a tough situation. There was really no definitive angle to show the fans didn't reach over the wall. I'll never understand why the seats are that close when this kind of this situation comes up fairly often. There's really no reason for it.
