I saw 14 Blades last night. The movie is fukkin piff. HIGHLY recommend it.

I just went on a spree grabbing some noteworthy flicks he did back in the early 80s/90s.

He only got offered sidekick and villain roles, and he wouldn't be allowed to choreograph his own fights/stunts, so he said "fukk Hollywood". I can't blame him.

The crazy part is that dude was raised in Boston. He speaks english much better than all the other kung-fu stars, but yet it's the ones who struggle thru the english language who became stars in the U.S.

many stars from HK found it hard to break in the US market despite their talent..Yen was no exception..But he got shafted though it seems..Jet Li came did his thing and became a huge huge star..
