Quick review:
This was an interesting role for Yen. One where he had to flex his acting chops, and he did well. My only complaint was the emotional character development for him. It suffered because it felt like it wasn't sure which way it wanted to stick.
The story suffers from pacing and editing problems that are minor; it really shows when he rises to the top.
The movie felt like a mix of Departed and Gangs of NY.
I only found a good copy of the English dub. I'd like to peep the sub one when I can. 7.5/8
