Don't Ask Chris Webber about Jalen Rose (Goes off on Doug Gotlieb)

Jalen and C-Webb just need to fix it, dammit.

Jalen brings up in his book the few times they've met since the beef started. Once while working the finals Bill Simmons wanted to go and say hey to the TNT guys who were set up not too far from their postgame set. Jalen initially said no but eventually went. Says he just tried to say what up to Webber and Webber flat out told him loudly "Get the fukk out my face".

Then said later that they both were happened to be in Liv and he approached Webber there to try and clear the air and said Webber went on a rant so Jalen just left the club cuase it was close to getting physical.

I do think if Webber just had one comprehensive interview to state his side of the story that he can point people to for his side he would stop people from asking. Instead he seems ready to flip anytime it's brought up so people will keep doing it just to get that reaction out of him.

Edit: I remember them both being on Best Damn sports show and it was talked about. Plus when he first got the job at TNT they asked him how many timeouts were in college. He seemed to take the joke in stride. Maybe he just doesn't like Jalen for whatever reason. Lol

I think it's more or less the relationship they had while at Michigan, they considered themselves brothers. Things have soured over time, The Fab 5 doc, and Jalen book and interviews with people asking about CWebb. I think Jalen feels the need to reach out to CWebb before and after he says something about him publicly.
