Don't Ask Chris Webber about Jalen Rose (Goes off on Doug Gotlieb)

Jalen brings up in his book the few times they've met since the beef started. Once while working the finals Bill Simmons wanted to go and say hey to the TNT guys who were set up not too far from their postgame set. Jalen initially said no but eventually went. Says he just tried to say what up to Webber and Webber flat out told him loudly "Get the fukk out my face".

Then said later that they both were happened to be in Liv and he approached Webber there to try and clear the air and said Webber went on a rant so Jalen just left the club cuase it was close to getting physical.

I do think if Webber just had one comprehensive interview to state his side of the story that he can point people to for his side he would stop people from asking. Instead he seems ready to flip anytime it's brought up so people will keep doing it just to get that reaction out of him.

Maybe when he's an old man he will realize the mistakes he's making but this could have been squashed. Jalen said during the documentary for ESPN he gave Chris a chance to speak on it and say whatever he want and even look at how it was edited to give his final word.

This is where I side with Jalen too. Chris even initially agreed to it then backed out and Jalen had to have ESPN higher ups get a hold of TNT execs just to get in contact with CWebb. I don't know what more Jalen can do.

This interview got real awkward at that point seems like Gotlieb was just trying to explain why he asked about Jalen and Webber kept cutting him off thinking he was trying to continue with the Jalen questioning. That jab about my class will be more entertaining than this interview was unnecessary tho.

I bet the list of topics covered in that class is half the size of things that will absolutely not be discussed during course year.
