You supposed to swim parallel to the beach/land to swim yourself out the rip current and then at a 90 degree angle back to land. Dont swim against it or you're just gonna tire yourself out and drown.

If you just float and let the current "take you" before you start swimming, that's cool too, BUT you're gonna be at LEAST 100 yards from the beach when it stops pushing you really hard so doggy paddling aint gonna do nothing:yeshrug:, and you still have to swim back at a 90 degree angle to the beach/land so that you dont get caught up again.

Or u can just stay the fukk out of the ocean to begin with like i do. Seriously, there's nothing good in those waters for any person. I wont step foot in the ocean unless i can clearly see the ground :lupe:

Me too:heh:

Im a average swimmer, but I dont fukk around with ocean or lake water....gotta be in a pool or something. In the ocean, I dont go further than water that comes up to my knees for real. People think they can swim until they pulled out 150-200 yards into the deep blue and gotta swim back AGAINST the waves:wow:

Hell nah, not me:camby:

Breh i learned my lesson by the expense of one of my boys. We went to Mexico for a mini vacation and one of my boys didnt notice that a current was taking his ass off. In a matter of mins, dude was like 300 feet from the beach yelling for help. No one understood English so everyone just standing around looking at him with the :lupe: face. Some how he managed to swim back in against the current but dude was nearly dead from exhaustion. Thats why i told him i never go past knee deep and he now will never go into the waters again :heh:
