You need money to start up a business or create one, how do you get that with no solid source of income and cash flow?
You probably need to pool resources with other liked minded people to start a business. I know several black people who started their own business. But they weren't interested in really growing the Business to employ hundreds of people. They just wanted to make enough money to become rich individually. So these companies rarely employed more than a handful of people.

The problem with black people's thinking is that when someone says start a business or make a job, they automatically assume you're going to try to make a corporation that pulls in a million dollars a year in revenue.

The reality of the situation is that there are many ways to make the equivalent of a regular job working by yourself with minimal to moderate overhead.

There's lawn care, a business which can be started for under $1000 (the cast of a lawn mower and weed eater), for anyone with a trade they can start to transition existing customers into a private practice, people who are handy with photoshop and can do basic website design can make money designing logos, advertisements, and websites for other small businesses...

I've seen a black woman on my Facebook page grow from making and selling plates on weekends to opening her own restaurant and is about to open a 2nd location.

The opportunities are out there but we have to many pessimists who prefer to wallow in self pity and victimhood and disguise it as "wanting better". The reality is that they project their laziness on the entire black population. And with our tendency to engage in group think, that defeatist attitude gets absorbed as "black culture"

I met a black couple who were both teachers and loved the job but hated the pay. Every summer they would work seasonal jobs to supplement their income.

The wife liked to go to yard sales and thrift shops on weekends to search for deals. One day she brought a miniature table and 2 rocking chairs, children sized. She thought it would be cute for their daughter when she got older.

So the husband sanded it down, put a fresh coat of finish on it followed by a clear coat (basic stuff), and his wife posted it online. A flood of people hit her up to buy this table and chair she spent 20 bucks on. She eventually sold it to a woman for $150.

She started going hard on the yard sales, joined several Facebook groups dedicated to them and started befriending other bargain hunters.

She would buy old wooden furniture (the good old reliable stuff) and her husband would refinish it. She would then post it online for sale with people sometimes coming from out of state to buy.

They stopped working their seasonal jobs and really don't have to teach anymore. They have a backlog of furniture in storage they haven't even gotten to yet. If they were to give up teaching, go full time, they would actually make more money. But they're extremely comfortable with their current situation

Complete destruction of the black family. Black fathers being vilified and minimized. Having kids out of wedlock becoming the norm. Women becoming defacto heads of houses when women historically don't exactly do a great job when it comes to planning for the future.

Voting for politicians who have no interest in actually helping, just doing enough to keep the cycle going.

An "elite" class of blacks whose entire goal is white acceptance, which leads to devaluing "normal" black people and their contributions and hampers any attempts to build networks to trade information and pool resources

I could go on all day

But I bet u think it's just racism. Evil omnipotent white man making us act in ways that are detrimental.

respect

that's good that they can now enjoy their main work (teaching) and not worry about it not paying as much money as they would like.
