So I just smoked some sativa, and I started thinking. You know how a lot of white people say that brown people need to assimilate? When they come here as immigrants, they don't always assimilate.
But I'm thinking, no, you could bring your culture wherever you go. I don't believe in assimilation. I believe in the preservation of culture. And the people who don't have culture are the people who tend to mock culture.
So the people that are saying that brown people need to assimilate are the same people that either don't know their history or reject it. I think for the most part, they may know it, but they reject it. So they won't say that, you know, they're colonial anchor babies, that they're actually Europeans.
If I was a white guy, I'd want to learn my roots. I'd want to go back to, I'd do like a DNA test or something and find out which country my ancestors are from, and then go visit that country regularly, and learn their culture, and then try to adapt to it, and adopt it, and teach my kids it. So the people that are telling brown people to assimilate are the same people that either refuse to learn or reject their own culture and history. Now, isn't that interesting?
