shyt is weak. Clownish behavior. Leave that Biff Tanen and Marty McFly dynamic to the cacs and non-blacks. A lot of brehs, especially our young soldiers and scholars are trying to navigate a world that tells them they ain't shyt from day one. Like I don't expect nothing but mediocrity when it comes to social situations involving non-black people, and to be very clear, I am not saying you got sound like Sweet Daddy Williams from Good Times either. but a sense of basic decorum and decency goes a long way. If a man stumbles or misremembers, educate, don't humiliate. Even on social media and internet shyt, we and I'm guilty of this as well, are forgetting the fact that were engaging and interacting with another person. And calling them out they name, calling them a simp, fakkit, soft, bytch etc. for what reason do we have to go from 0 to 10 over petty shyt? A man might've had the worse day in a long while, no reprieve of any kind, only to be called everything but the son of god by some wench or some c00n who hasn't matured past high school, if that.
A lot of social culture we have towards one another as MEN is at the expense or shortcomings of the next breh. That's why a lot of them feel like they gotta go at this world alone, or they nestle up to cacs and non-blacks and love em like there's no obvious alterior motives.
My father spent most of my time as a teenager, young adult doing just that, and he wonders why he'll never see his grandson or why there's always tension. Men have to have a space or folks to confine in otherwise these problems we all have and or experience will continue to fester. It about perfection, it's about giving a man a sense of peace and leveled comradery that he might not have.
We can always strive and improve from the day before.
“For as the body is one and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
