That whole EWR move was a disaster and people were aware it was going to be… what’s hilarious to me is Duffy and them came out with a press conference regarding the “brand new ATC system” which essentially wasn’t a plan besides fiber optic wires and new radios along with trying to consolidate buildings into “super centers”

We just had an issue with the move from Long Island to Philly.. what does that look like with entire centers being moved and consolidated?

Plus you want to entice the workforce to stay around longer, how’s that gonna look when you ask someone who’s lived in Denver, or Kansas City, or Chicago, or Minnesota that hey all those centers are gonna be under 1 big building now. And in order to save the government $$ we’re gonna open that Center in Fargo, North Dakota

I said I had heard stories at that place.. pretty crazy to me that if not for all these airline companies still trying to schedule the same amount of flights out of EWR a week or 2 ago the general public wouldn’t have a clue. The outages have happened before, it was the cancellations and delays that got the news to care.

They’d be on ATC alert and TMU would still be trying to shove planes in and out.

There are a lot of facilities that are working with understaffed numbers, this just happens to be the most forward facing cause it involves a bigger airspace and thus more delays

America elected a con man. He's doing what con men do.

He(and his friends) believe the government should do only two things:
1. Give them money
2. Allow them to take the resources of others by force and protect them from any backlash their actions cause.

That's it. They don't want you to have jobs, money, healthcare, education, any of that shyt. They want you to be locked into generational poverty and to live as little more than livestock that gives them labor and money(through the taxes they extract from you and by monetizing everything that you need to survive and anything that gives you the will to live).

They’ve vastly reduced flights out of and into that area

That’s what makes the system unsafe is low staff, while trying to push the same amount of tin/planes.

You’ll be good. It’s safer and better in general for that to place. Less delays if you don’t try and keep the same amount of flights as you would when it’s fully staffed

Smaller airports it happens more than people realize… at a high level facility this wouldn’t happen unless on a midnight shift

Every night there is 1 person essentially working 6-8 positions at once for 3 hours
