That's not true. This flag has been an issue, in the south at least, for as long as I've been on this Earth. The shyt has never, ever been cool. We've been echoing the same shyt for so long, it might seem like we were pushing this hard recently but it's been one of many issues. That flag hasn't been put over the more pressing issues.

Hell, I don't give a fukk about the flag honestly, it helps me identify bytch ass racists. It's their calling card. It should never be on federal grounds though, that's just ignorant.

Some people may have been too young at the time....but back in the very early 2000s...the debate about the SC State Flag was a BIG issue then. It was debated nationwide. It's nothing new at all, anyone about 33 and over will tell you that.

I live in the south and have most of my life and see this shyt all over. I'll be honest, I don't care one way or another but if I was forced to make a choice I would vote for it to come down. It won't change how people feel in this country. Its a symbolic victory if anything.

I lived in Nashville and right on the busiest highways is a huge ugly statue of Nathan Bedford Forest, the founder of the KKK. I always saw that statue when I was in Nashville, but I never knew what the fukk it was until a few days ago :ohhh: .That trips me out more than the confederate flag.. I mean this statue is huge and supposedly it was erected by James Earl Ray's Lawyer in the 60s who was staunch segregationist and racist.

lol at thinking taking the confederate flag "down" will change anything. . .it is just going to lead those who believe in what it represents to be more abrasive and outspoken !

you cant take "down" tattoos. . .or take "down" flags and stickers plastered all over their personal property (car).
:manny: just saying.

And if you ever get into a debate about this and the other guy says "we're getting too Politically correct and we can't offend anyone" needs to give them a history lesson on that rebel flag.

Originally the Confederate Battle flag was created with an upward facing cross:

The diagonal cross was preferable, he wrote, because "it avoided the religious objection about the cross (from the Jews and many Protestant sects), because it did not stand out so conspicuously as if the cross had been placed upright thus".

They changed the cross to an X because they didn't want to offend Jews. The fukking rebel flag was altered because they wanted to be politically correct and not offensive. :wow:

How ironic is that? A symbol of hatred was altered because it was offensive to another race. :wow:

"Personal property" is the key term. Fly all the Confederate flags you want at home, on your car, on your body, etc., but it has no business on government property, period.

Love
This is post required 0 neuron firings in your brain.
See, now this is why i sometimes hate discussing anything with black people. :ld:
I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.

Breh, You dont know me. You dont know my background. I asked a simple fukkin question. Rather than attempt to insult me because you dont agree how about you perhaps make your case and educate me in the fukkin' process you f@ggot. Ive lived in 3 different countries in my life and one was a dictatorship for the better part of my stay there. Again, being required to identify myself makes sense to me.

Everywhere i go i always have ID on me. When out of the country i always walk around with either my passport or my passport card. Plain and simple you will NEVER find me anywhere without a form of ID.

Now why is it a big deal to ask for such ID?

No doubt, and I'm not denying any of this, but there are still bigger issues. That flag is not holding us back from anything

I remember being in the 3rd grade and learning about the Civil War and the Confederate flag. Then I asked my mom could I watch Roots. Things were never the same. I realized at the age of 8 or 9 that the Confederate flag was fukked up.

So I had high level of self-awareness and cognitive skills at a young age or people are just idots to not see the problems with the flag or maybe both.....:leostare:
