Well, engaging in raw sex with anyone you just met is risky, and playing games with your body, health, and well-being. You open yourself up to a lot of STDs/STIs and even HIV/AIDS. Even though the chances of HIV are low between heterosexuals, it doesn't mean it can't happen.
It's understandable to be concerned about your friend's well-being; you wouldn't be a real friend if you weren't concerned about him and the way he's moving; people should always strive to use protection during the first few sexual encounters to be on the safe side.

Quick Update:
Met up with him in Europe; he's riding a motorcycle around the continent. I'll create a thread on that in a moment.
Said he caught the clap
and had to get like two shots to cure it (it's normally one, but dude is like 6'7", 380). 
Pretty sure he's had syphilis a time or two as well. Also believes he got a couple of his regular girls sick in Thailand.

I'm not judgmental about that stuff, I would be honest if I was. The ladyboy thing does nothing for me. The cheap Thai girls don't do anything for me either, though.

He left a gig at Google to motorcycle around the world. I've said, maybe in this thread, if he ever got serious, could probably be CEO of a large tech company.
Dude is a black high school dropout who routinely gets job offers from large tech and finance companies.
I think he doesn't know what to do with all that energy and brainpower so it just, I don't know.
I know he spent time in a trailer park when he was younger, so maybe he can't shake that.
