Support is such a strong word. He would have to be an advocate for POC or make amazing music for me to support him personally. His music is OK at best and his sexuality doesn't make it any better or worst.

Now, an issue that I think most have is if folk didn't acknowledge or praise him for doing great things just because he's gay. An example would be him donating half of his earnings to impoverished youth; the amount of support he would get now is much less than it would have been a week ago.

If you've seen the reaction to him doing it you can understand why he felt the need to make it public. Plus people were already trying to out him anyways. Being an openly gay rapper is brave especially considering there's never been a market for them.
Out him how?.. he has blatantly homosexual post on his Twitter page. At the end of the day he used it as PR . It was pride day & he wanted the pub, he understands he prob dont have lasting power

When people start calling It like it is the better. Stop tryna shame hetro men into accepting that flexible lifestyle:manny:

What world do you live in where you are forced to support musical artists you don't like. Y'all are madd dramatic.
That's what I don't understand.

What do people mean by "support"?

I don't know who that guy on FB is, and I never would have had he not chosen to publicly say something about a rapper that just came out.

He could not "support" Nas X by simply not mentioning him at all.

I’m not going to buy his albums regardless. I don’t care for his music. People should be able to live their lives in peace, and just be able to be themselves though. I’m not threatened by his sexuality, which wasn’t his choice. He is what he is and he shouldn’t have to hide that.

There's a market for music for people that like it. He was/ is on his way to making his money. Dude wasn't accused of rape, tax evasion, mob ties, or some shyt that causes one to "get out front" before the accusation explodes. I'm literally just singing his chorus a week ago not giving a shyt about how his anus is used. Now, it's all I associate him with....that and onions and shyt smelling rooms and horses in the back and etc. I didn't need that in my life... I'm going through shyt.
