To the credit of the site administrators, although it took way too long they did shut down a group that had been formed for the sole purpose of lusting over pictures of pre-teenage girls and adolescents. Yet, none of the groups members were banned from the site as a whole, to my knowledge, so how much was really accomplished in simply shutting down the group when you still allow those people to be here? It's crazy.

The fact that an obvious white supremacist like @KingpinOG can keep posting here for so long is ridiculous.

I think the term has also taken over for "soul patrol", too. I clearly remember back in the early '00s when I frequented the Blackvoices forums, the local c00n crowd would dub anyone who was pro-Black or aware as part of the "soul patrol".
They'd say things like, "ooh I better not say that or the soul patrol will march in here and curse me out", etc.
Now fwd 10 years later and the young c00ns call it "militant".

But let us not confuse the local "mods" who moderate the forums with the actual owners of the site who probably don't actually mod very much.
But concerning the active and actual "mods", I do agree. It's horrible. You sometimes find yourself reading a post, thinking it's from a troll, and you look up at their tag and it says moderator
