I thought Russ would be the one out of the two to leave OKC.

I think we all knew Russ can't carry a title contending team. His playing style is too ball dominate and erratic.

He didn't have to sign the contract breh

He definitely has a tragic hero vibe going on right now.

After being blindsided by his teammate who joined the enemy he's had to do everything in his power to drag a young and inexperienced team to the playoffs. It's resulted in incredible performances but you can tell the strain has started to take it's toll on him. The things that make him great are also the very things that might bring about his downfall, and while he's not without fault for the situation he's in now his desire to stick it out with this Thunder squad is both heroic and tragic at the same time

Signing that contract was one of the things I was talking about

No such thing as to alpha lol.. don't let misplaced aggression fool you

MJ is the epitome of alpha and he was one of the smartest basketball players I've ever seen

Russ is fukking dense

Shot selection

Dominates the ball

Mismanages the clock

nikka KD covered his flaws
Yeah, Ive seen Westbrook lose games on shot selection alone

I like Russ but he was about to be a free agent this summer and signed an extension. So he made his bed.

Assuming the Thunder don't make moves to be championship contenders next season, if he doesn't opt out and bounce in Summer '18 then it's probably a wrap for him ever being on a contender again in his prime.

There is no way he can go once that "loyalty" stuff started he is stuck there

Always look for your own interests in any business because when it's time to do it for them .....out you go

Let him rot :francis:
