That play signified the Bears franchise had turned the corner from the continued sucking in the 90's. Detroit was 4-3 & tied for the division lead with the Bears in that game. We went on to make the playoffs and the Lions 'stayed'
We've been formidable in the division race ever since that game.
That game defeating Brett Favre in Chicago when him and Vasher both got picks that turned the game in 05 is one of my favorites too. That was the 1st time the Bears had beaten Favre in Chicago in the last 10 years!!
I been saying this to folk for years breh, that was a 'sliding doors' game. We went up, Lions stayed
