That cover 2 makes people think the CBs are worse than they are. No TOs, No Glory.

so ya'll gonna forget what Steve Smith did to ole boy in that 05 playoff game? :mjpls:

Easy to be aggressive in that cover 2.

Glad somebody finally said it.

He gets safety help on nearly every play..

Please..

I've seen him beaten way too much over the years.

He still can't cover nobody, sorry

That play signified the Bears franchise had turned the corner from the continued sucking in the 90's. Detroit was 4-3 & tied for the division lead with the Bears in that game. We went on to make the playoffs and the Lions 'stayed' :flabbynsick:

We've been formidable in the division race ever since that game. :stylin:

That game defeating Brett Favre in Chicago when him and Vasher both got picks that turned the game in 05 is one of my favorites too. That was the 1st time the Bears had beaten Favre in Chicago in the last 10 years!! :to:

:gladbron: I been saying this to folk for years breh, that was a 'sliding doors' game. We went up, Lions stayed :bryan:

Nate Vasher stays as one of my favorite Bears too, underrated ball-hawk, one of Angelo's gems

:win:

Charles Tillman isn’t just the best Cover-2 corner in football; he is one of the best corners in the NFL, period... Charles Tillman might be the perfect Cover-2 corner, but he is not a corner made by the system by any stretch of the imagination. Last season he was hurt by the defensive system and coverages employed by the Bears as much as he was helped by it, and when you really look at the tape you realize that Tillman is far better than you think he is.

Charles Tillman might just be Darrelle Revis trapped in a zone defense.
