I haven't cared for the few songs I've heard from him. :yeshrug:And every time I see him he's whining.

Get the hate out your blood kinfolk

Dude is bringing some real music to this generation... First time I've felt this way about these 90's babies

I support dude 100% after a thorough listen of the album. No NO bias on it neither, dude makes good music

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster

Trey has some cuts, that's obvious. But his albums contain WWWAAAAYYYYYY too much filler (typically half to more than half - but a compilation of his best tracks would trump a lot of dude's catalogues in the 2000's sans The Dream).

As for August... this album is VERY reminiscent to J Holiday's "Back of my Lac".

Similar vocals, comparable production (but the guest features on here are more rampant).

And Drumma needs to do more R&B.

His drums and snares/hi-hats have you feelin' Gucci.

I agree.

J.Holidays "Back of my Lac"was on some low key g shyt. Augusts album reminds me a lot of it, because even though there's songs for females he talks a lot about shyt going on in his life.

I think Trey is the better singer as far as range and songs that get chicks ready, but I think Alsina can do more and has more balance in rap if y'all know what I mean.

Like he can do a club song, hood song, female song, pop song, etc.

And drumma did do his thing too. Production in this album is solid af. Not a single song with some bullshyt
