That's another card they like to play even when they are perfectly fine. Its part of a persona they like to uphold when they come back. I got a homie that does have hit and you'd never hear him mention it like these cacs like doing. Its a caricature/facade of what they think is cool. The fact is being a Marine has nothing to do with this whole situation. No need to romanticize it about dude being Rambo with PTSD. It was just a p*ssy that was scared to have fist fight so he grabbed a bat. If he really snapped, it would've looked different. You would feel the unhingedness in the attack. Instead it was mostly him hitting the guy across the back and taunting. That was just a typical ego trip that went too far. He'll be in jail talking about how it was an accident and how he didn't mean to hit him in the head (which it looked like he caught him on the head while swinging at his back)

I can't say most cause everybody experience is different and I have homies that were marines that have fukked people up but it has nothing to do with them being in the service. he could possibly catch charges for helping his friend leave the scene since he was the driver. if he didn't drive him away and just left he might also get charged for not calling it in while dude was facing death.
