Life is absurd. Lean into it.
Your bro or cuz didn't lift with his back. Plain and simple. Something as small as 20lbs and repetitive motion will throw anyone's back out.
Dear god no! Tell him to get away from that! I was 20 when I worked at one. It was the Wal-Mart distribution center (it was called UTI then). Hardest thing I've ever done! So many black chicks working there and we were tired and in a lot of pain. The guys kept trying to talk to us which made it very irritating. Hell there was also no air conditioning and it was summer time -- I just went back to school too. I think one of the pregnant girls almost lost her baby. She never came back. I lasted only two weeks. They told us we had 3 hours to unload a whole damn trailer truck. 3.....damn....hours.....I was only 140 pounds then and not that strong upper body wise. We had all sorts of animals and bugs come out of that sh*t! I got bit by a spider and it spread all the way up to my lady area causing my ovaries to swell (a rash trail that went all the way up both legs and thighs to that place smh). I had to go to the ER and they told me to get away from there! They let me go for getting hurt and I almost got let go the day I didn't meet the time demand for that truck.
It took me 9 hours to unload these big a** tvsI found out I was allergic to spiders and that was terrible pain in the ovarian area
I've never seen so many snakes in my life!..........bats............rodents.............bugs I couldn't even identify!!!!!!

Yea, the whole idea behind the UPS grind is the insurance (its the real benefit to that job) and the ability to turn your sweat equity into a cushy career if you can lasti was a sorter at UPS for a year fresh outta high school and that shyt was basically a paid workout..listen to music, talk on the phone, flirt with female supervisors, have hip hop debates with my coworkers, roast the unloaders, bag the new hires...it was a breeze for me but i really felt sorry for the loaders..they looked like they just finished fighting a whole war after every shift...i couldnt last a week doing that
after a while i realized that i could be making way more money doing way less so i just stopped showing up
Stop trying to be funny with me. You're corny as fukk

the four years and pass the exams and whatnot to become a driver. My boys that stuck with UPS are eating with zero education. They had to put a lot of time in
getting dirty and banged up, first. fukk winter in UPS. Them long trucks stick out so far, it feels like you are standing outside.

BREH! Make a fukking plan B NOW! You a little less than a month from non-stop fukkery with that holiday season shyt. Not only will you be working harder, but folks will be
quitting mid shift, making your days that much longer cause nobody else coming to help.
Even if I needed a second job right now, I wouldn't dare step foot in Fed Ex in any position on the floor. The exception might be early morning unload. Everything else is straight ass cheeks.
