My first job was UPS and I walked out the very first day we started work. 1st week was safety training. I worked a few hours and decided I couldn't do it. Left my box scanner in the trailer, didn't say a word just walked out. HR called me in the morning furious.

Worked at UPS when I was 18-20. I was only loading trucks for 3 months before I became a supervisor though. We use to get thousands of these TotalGym boxes that were like 70lbs each. Sometimes a whole truck would get packed with them and two dudes had to do it .

I've worked quite a few warehouse jobs in my younger days and not lifting properly will eventually get anyone injured no matter how in shape they are.

it's levels to this warehouse/production shyt.... some are wayyyy more intense than others, but generally speaking, as consolidation increases and tech gobbling up everything and jobs being sent overseas, I wouldn't strive to be a warehouse worker...


But yo... that UPS warehouse... the loader/unloader job ... my gosh...

Not for the faint of heart. Only MEN survive a full shift of that shyt.

I see old ass Mexican dudes that's 50 doing crazy labor jobs still, sending money back to Mexico. Iono how they do that shyt

Dear god no! Tell him to get away from that! I was 20 when I worked at one. It was the Wal-Mart distribution center (it was called UTI then). Hardest thing I've ever done! So many black chicks working there and we were tired and in a lot of pain. The guys kept trying to talk to us which made it very irritating . Hell there was also no air conditioning and it was summer time -- I just went back to school too. I think one of the pregnant girls almost lost her baby. She never came back. I lasted only two weeks. They told us we had 3 hours to unload a whole damn trailer truck. 3.....damn....hours.....I was only 140 pounds then and not that strong upper body wise. We had all sorts of animals and bugs come out of that sh*t! I got bit by a spider and it spread all the way up to my lady area causing my ovaries to swell (a rash trail that went all the way up both legs and thighs to that place smh). I had to go to the ER and they told me to get away from there! They let me go for getting hurt and I almost got let go the day I didn't meet the time demand for that truck.
It took me 9 hours to unload these big a** tvs I found out I was allergic to spiders and that was terrible pain in the ovarian area


I've never seen so many snakes in my life! ..........bats............rodents.............bugs I couldn't even identify!!!!!!

Unloading trucks sucks when it's a lot of shyt in there and you gotta go fast. I remember I was unloading 30lb boxes that was filled from the floor to the ceiling in a 52 foot tractor trailer. Had 8 hours to unload that bytch BY MYSELF!

All that goddamn dust, went home with a fever that night.. never went back.

They let you listen to headphones , one thing that really sucked was you would go thru music quick and ran out of things to listen too


Right now I work for Amazon but I don’t work inside , I been directing the vans into the warehouse for the past 4 months , I probably “work” for a total of 5 mins thru the whole shift , rest of the time I’m on YouTube or vaping , I literally lucked out because I’m the only person who does it , $15 a hour
