Of course. A regular handshake must be web to web and firm. A hard grip shows insecurity and a weak grip shows intimidation. Neither should be trusted.

This. Black men don't need to do these silly tricks to make themselves appear more masculine and dominant then we are.
Handshakes are supposed to be for fun and to greet with love. Just look at how the white men feels the need to try to opress with a handshake. This is the only reason you need to have a firm shake,is if you are in a position where you have to shake hands with a white person. Since they are on record saying what their entire purpose of a handshake is.

I hate shaking hands, the men's bathroom has taught me to stick to fist daps, or pretend to be sick at new introductions to avoid palm to palm contact...

then i let my hand slowly glide down his neck.
then quickly grab the back of the dome again for another 5 seconds.
