Just finished 100% my first run
What a fukking sequel
That last boss was wrecking me over and over. Once I finally got it together I took down the first phase and got the last on my first try.
Loved the new reliance on weapon switching and sub weapons. I loved Doom 2016 but barely ever used the sub weapons and straight up ignored multiple weapons in the game. Here, the only weapon I really ignored was the Balista. I was on everything else heavy. Super shotgun with the meathook was still my main though. Too fun to hook a demon from across the room and pull directly into a mid air headshot
Some people were worried about the OST but I felt like Mick Gordon outdid himself. To the point the music was actually stressing me a bit lol

Take your time breh. That's all I'm gonna say. I beat Doom 2016 in 14 hours...I've already spent 10 in this on Nightmare and I'm not even halfway yet. I just got to the 2nd slayer gate and I know it doesn't get easier from here
Now that my nerves calmed down a little it was a pretty good game, just really far from the normal Doom formula. Wish they gave you more to doo in the fortress tho
