Nah it's the animations..in doom eternal he would snap the demons damn arm and shove the bone in its face. Yes pop the eye all out of the 1 eyed monster and put it in its mouth. He was doing all kinds of sh1t to them demons. In this he throw a few punches and a kick into some ragdoll physics. It's bullsh1t. They slacked in this part of the game. Hoping this campaign is off the chain. So far, I'm having fun with it. On chapter 2.

The lead developer said that since this game is more open with more enemies on the screen, he felt it would take away the flow of the game to have the previous glory kill system.

I somehow did a glory kill with a shield today. Put a demon on its back and cut its head off with the shield. Had no idea what prompted it to do that

I think you gotta jump and THEN do the melee attack. That's the only way I can do the glory kills

I really like this more than Eternal. I really think they went back to the real Doom formula with this.
