You were holding down this thread lovely with your previous selections unt this blasphemous post.

Focused Daily is a straight west coast underground classic. He came to a local college on tour with Xzibit and 112 (I think it was 112) back in '98 and I was like the only dude in the whole auditorium who was losing his shyt when he was rocking, lol. First rapper I had the chance to build and kick it with after a show. That album still gets yearly rotation from me.

And props on The Juggaknots. Copped the original Fondle 'Em pressing when I was in high school. Funny cuz I was just reading some old interviews from them since I been in my Company Flow bag heavy this week and Brewin was describing how East/West dropped them from the label when they were signed with Missy and Das Efx after they played them "Jivetalk" which wasn't received well by the execs. That shyt was my favorite song off the album between that and The Circle.

Oh, that Shabaam Sahdeeq track with Xzibit you were looking for is called Concrete. Alchemist produced track. Always remembered it cuz Xzibit performed it as an opening act before the Juice Vs. Supernatural battle that the Wake Up Show organized.
Classic? I don't know about that. lol I'm just expressing my opinion, he's a good MC so I'm glad you liked it.
Breeze is my man, we went to HS together and we still hang out/talk once in a blue. I remember when they got with East/West but I didn't know all that about why they got dropped, etc. thanks.
And thanks for the Shabam Sahdeeq record, love that joint.

Let's see what I can add to this thread.......

Bumped this album for a month straight.....

Came out before Wu-Tang, but got less promotion....

One of the illest beats ever made.....

Dude came out swingin'! Had a dope production team with L.A. Posse and still remains remains relatively unknown.......

I saw Grandaddy IU, but what yall know about these cats.....

Produced by Sir Mix-A-Lot label. Think I was the only cat that had this tape around my way......

MC Ren produced this act. L'il Nation's flow is...............:ohlawd:

I still think I have that King and I album. CPO was the shyt. I thought about posting them. check this interview out, where Lil Nation (CPO Boss Hogg) says he still gets paid for Picture Me Rollin today.

Breeze, now you brought back some shyt I havent thought about for years. That was the shyt.

Anyone remember Biz's brother Diamond Shell? Album was decent

album was decent and I liked his flow and rhymes. I always wondered how much did he write for Biz. I remember a couple of years ago, someone on an interview was trashing him. not sure if it was Charlemagne or who...but they were like "remember Biz brother Diamond Shell, he was horrible. some people shouldnt be making records just because they know people..." and I was like :camby:person probably never listened to Diamond Shell, just knew he didnt sell and assumed he was wack.

Yeah, he was supposed have next. lol He was cool but I thought a bit overrated.

actually, F.T., Problemz and Al Tariq (Beatnuts) were a group. Black Attack.

and speaking of Al Tariq....his album was pretty good. he left Beatnuts thinking he was going to blow.
