In case anyone who doesn't know too much about Haiti was following that confused dominic retard with the yankees avi, some things need to be cleared up:
The alleged genocide, was the massacre of rightful massacre of a few thousand white people who were colonisers who had been responsible for the enslavement and murder of infinitely more Haitians/Afrikans. The people who were killed were not killed intrinsically because they were white but because they were responsible for the suffering and exploitation of Haitans, note that Dessalines allowed a few groups of whites to live such as the Polish batallion that sympathised with the slaves and abandoned the French army and joined the revolution. The Polish that fought were granted Hatain citizenship and are still in Haiti today, white women who agreed to marry non-whites were also spared. In comparison to the slaves, Dessalines and his army showed a lot more humanity than their oppressors and had grounds for murder unlike their oppressors, its easy to sit on a computer and make moral judgements but we can never comprehend the type of misery they had to endure. There are quite a few things to criticize Dessalines for but there is a lot more to praise him for, its easy to look back in hindsight and slander him but he was part of something totally unprecedented and amazing at the time, which one of the main reasons for the abolishment of slavery in the Americas that would follow shortly. You better believe the idea of slaves repeating the revolution elsewhere had the white man defecating in his linens.
Dessalines subsequent military state that required every citizen to work their asses off was for purely logical reasons. The reason it had to be that way is because Haiti was absolutely torn apart after the revolution and they were under constant threat from French and other European invasion. He was simply seeking to rebuild the country so they could actually function indepedently and not be re-enslaved. It is true that the military system in Haiti has been used as a tool of oppression after its independence up until today, however, when it was dismantled by Aristide (just last decade) it left the country vulnerable to the US backed rebels that took over very quickly and fukked Haiti over even more. If you look at the condition of Haiti today it is a direct result or Europe and the Western revenge for the revolution.
If anyone is interested this documentary about the Western orchestrated coup in Haiti will open your eyes on a lot of things. Conincidentaly, this happened at the same time as the invasion of Iraq and was equally as ridiculous, yet there was no white liberal uproar at all.
