With Yeezus recently leaking, I've decided it's time to turn people onto some dope experimental hip hop.

I'll start it off with Billy Woods - History Will Absolve Me

Yeah, these are dope, but I don't see how they're experimental

And let's be honest here, Yeezus wasn't THAT experimental. You'd had to be a dusty old-school only rap listener if you've never heard music like what was made on Yeezus. There are genre-blending elements but it's nothing like Death Grips or whatever.

oh I know, but I just wanted people who've actually been pushing the boundaries of hip hop to get some recognition.

no one wants to chip in and throw some good music out there? Or are you just not going to click it because experimental is in the title

El-P I guess. Fantastic damage and Can Ox are not your usual hiphop albums. Not one El-P album is actually.

SoCal State Beaches

From the guy who did co-production on "Guilt Trip" and "Send It Up."

This might be a bit much for people on here, but fukk it. :yeshrug:

(Don't watch the B L A C K I E shyt if you have epilepsy. I'm serious.)

And yeah, Yeezus is experimental for such a mainstream rapper, but it's really taking the aesthetics of Hudson Mohawke, Arca, and Death Grips and smoothing it out for mass consumption, making it more palatable for the average listener.

Prince Paul- psychoanalysis..i love that album

"The album centers around Prince Paul visiting a psychiatrist, and all of the songs in some way relate to mental conditions."
