Bob Stoops announced it during his press conf today.

He likely would've stayed for this 2015 season at OU, but Stoops announced he let go both of our OC's, Josh Heupel & Jay Norvell. Norvell was also the WR coach, he was responsible for recruiting DGB out of high school, and also for bringing him back this year. :mjcry: So now that he's gone, DGB is too.

I'm assuming he's still near the top of any NFL teams draft board if they need a WR.

Best WR in the draft

DGB >>>> Cooper

Just a matter of how far he falls due to red flags

If he's there in the 2nd, Jets should jump all over him. Wouldn't mind even trading down in the 1st for him

At 6'6 225, you damn right he's still at the top of draft boards. Plus this is a relatively weak WR class anyways. I would def take him late first and hope teams skip on him so I can get him in the 2nd-3rd

Pretty sure the OU coaches will have nothing but good things to say about him, so he wont fall nearly as far as he would have this time last year.

City of Angels :blessed:
DGB could end up being anything from a poor man's Randy Moss to being Da'Rick Rodgers and out of the league in 2 years.

No got damn way I'd take him in the first tho, unless its the Patriots.

is he Mike Williams v. 2? I think hes a little bit faster, and should succeed but it doesn't always work like that. one storyline that will be very interesting

Craziness he's not better than Cooper
They are 2 different players.

Cooper is more versatile, a better route runner. More polished.

But 1-on-1, like in a Megatron sense, DGB could possibly be a beast with the right team/offense

You can legitimately make that argument but scouts love potential and DGB has everything plus more you would want in a number 1 receiver.

Its like jerry rice vs moss, and most ppl would go with rice. Isn't this dude a head case? Cooper will be better

Been in trouble, yes. Weed charges and a domestic issue he was never charged for. Cooper may or may not be better. Not arguing that. Just pointing out that around NFL draft time, measureables and potential sometimes trump production.
