Not making excuses, but 40 million of us leaving to go in a mass exodus to another country that has problems of its own, or even semi stabilized, is gonna create more conflict. Not to mention that most of us can't go backwards in terms of standard of living (no high speed internet, clean water at times, electricity). We tried that with Liberia, and it became a massive civil war over there (that died down after decades).
