Summary so you don't have to hear this dude's cough :scust:

In a recent report, Dave Meltzer of the WON said that matches had been put in place, with The Fiend vs Roman Reigns being a lock for The Showcase of the Immortals.

In the last report, this was how the rumored WrestleMania 36 card was going to look:

  1. Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE Universal Championship)
  2. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley (NXT Women's Championship)
  3. Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler (RAW Women's Championship)
  4. Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship)
  5. Bayley vs. Naomi (WWE SmackDown Women's Championship)
  6. Andrade vs. Humberto Carrillo (WWE United States Championship)
  7. Edge vs. Randy Orton
  8. John Cena vs. Elias
  9. The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
  10. Women's Tag Team Championship match
  11. Women's Battle Royal
  12. Men's Battle Royal
Now things might have changed though. Meltzer is reporting that both The Fiend vs Roman Reigns as well as John Cena vs Elias have been changed. In the latest Wrestler Observer Radio he said:

"The only two matches that I have written about that have changed and I don't know if it's a 100% changed but I was pretty much told that they have changed is Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns & John Cena and Elias. But I believe there's about 5 or 6 matches that have changed but the other ones are matches I hadn't reported yet anyway."

Meltzer speculated that Lacey Evans could replace Naomi and take on Bayley at WrestleMania 36. He also stated that most of the changes could happen on the SmackDown side of things.

"I would say every match on the SmackDown side is either going to change or is in danger of changing. I don't think that there's one that's solid anymore, as far as the Mania thing goes. I first heard that you know like SmackDown...like everything is up in the air on SmackDown and then I heard the same thing from several other people. I don't have a new card but I do know like those 2 matches I mentioned are off or at right now, look like they're off."

Meltzer is still unclear on who Bray Wyatt or John Cena could face and it'll be interesting to see what transpires between now and WrestleMania 36. Hopefully, all will be revealed in the coming months.

Without watching the product, I thought Goldberg winning and facing Roman was a lock, kinda surprised Wyatt vs Roman was still the plan, supposedly.

D-Bry going from a Wrestlemania classic to not being on the card :why: .snoop: Unless he's Cena opponent there's still not a place for him in the main card. I hope he shows up on NXT soon :bryan:

If they really built up Bray just for fukking 53 year old Bill Goldberg to beat him :laff:
He gotta get a win over a supernatural entity who seemed nigh unbeatable so he can pull even with Brock in that so we can do Brock vs Bill again evened up. It's the only way to get Stone Cold out or retirement - to have him special guest ref again. The Saudis will love it; it's good shyt, pal!

If they're doing Cena/Elias, it definitely has to mean a return of rapping Cena... which, I mean. I'm in if it means he comes out to the old theme again :yeshrug: If the only times we see Cena for the twilight of his WWE career during his transition to acting is Thuganomics Cena, where I hear Word Life instead of You Can't See Me, I'd be perfectly fine with that. Pay that man every year to pop up at Mania just to play the theme, let him throw his basic 4-bar schemes, hit a midcarder with his trash-ass Lightning Fist and dip.

Better use for that Saudi money than paying fukking Goldberg:mjlol:

If they have Goldberg win the Universal Championship just for him to drop it at WrestleMania, isn't that a rehash of what they did three years ago? :dwillhuh:

At least the card looks smaller this time. But they're definitely going to add more matches so they can get that five-hour runtime. :francis:

They're really gonna have 50 year old Goldberg squash the one interesting thing they've done in recently memory in front of a bunch of disinterestred sheiks in Saudi Arabia? :mjlol:

Cokeboy's plug made that bag a little too pure this time.

Wrestlemania booking sounds like somebody mixed up the actual card one of the Saudi shows :dead: and now the actual Saudi Show is influencing the Mania booking :russ: to all of us who can remember when shyt was booked in advance and when things mattered it’s like inception level fukkery
