Ive said it before...and ill say it again...these receivers very rarely drop passes and that should elevate the perception of their ability more than it does. Doesnt make them a superlative unit but certainly not pedestrian. They have trouble getting separation, aren't physical freaks etc. They also run hard after the catch (especially if you include Tate since he was on the team when Carter made the comment). Tate showed out this year as well. Carter got served. And honestly..Carter was a beast in Minny...but he didnt get much separation either and was renowned for his hands (and footwork). He didnt do his homework because he essentially shat on players that are somewhat similar to him (albeit no where near HOF as he is).

Gotta respect it. People get too caught up in ted ginn type guys but you can't do nothing without catching the ball first.
