I think the same thing happened to Luis Tiant's parents. He talked about it in that 30 for 30 that they did on him... he said his pops knew he was dying and he told his wife "vieja, yo me voy" (bae, I'm going) "tu te quedas o tu viene" (you staying or you're coming) and she told him "I'm coming" and died a little after he did.
